 About Mrs. Mascio

Welcome to first grade at Centennial Academy!

I am pleased to say that this is my sixth year teaching first grade at Centennial, where I have also taught at the Kindergarten level. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree at Metro State College, with a major in English, emphasizing Elementary Education. I have recently received a Math Certificate, and am pursuing my Master's degree in Curriculum and Pedagogy at the University of Colorado at Denver.

Prior to my move to Littleton Public Schools, I worked in the elementary school library in Park County, where my family and I lived for 16 years. As a life-long learner, I am passionate about providing children with reading, writing, and math skills that will enrich their lives.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, hiking, and traveling. My family--including my husband, three children, ages 26, 23, and 18, and two very sweet yellow Labs--is the mainstay of my life. I am proud to work in the school district that we specifically chose for our own childrens' educations when we moved to Littleton.
