 About Mrs. Goodloe

Welcome to the Third/Fourth Grade

After teaching overseas in Okinawa and Germany, I came to Centennial, which has been my “home” for many years. I have taught children in grades 3 through 6 in Littleton and love each age, therefore it would be difficult to choose a favorite. Right now, the fourth grade years are the best because that is what I am teaching.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico and my master’s from the University of Phoenix. Using continuing education through Littleton Public Schools and other area colleges, I am able to learn about new programs and techniques needed to work with today’s children. I love going to school to teach and to learn.

Personally, I am married, have four adult stepchildren, and one very spoiled cat. During my free time I like to spend time with my family, travel, hike, walk, garden, work on home projects, and my passion is reading. This year I have been focusing on fitness and each morning at 5:00 a.m., I walk for about 45 minutes. I find this gives me more energy for the day. I can tell the difference if I have to miss.

You may contact me in my room at 303.347.4135 (please call again if no one answers) or email me (best bet) at bgoodloe@lps.k12.co.us.

Homework

Your child will have homework during the school week. It is important to complete the assignment on time and have it at school on the day it is due. Please help your child follow through with this important task. With your help your child will be successful.

After an absence assignments should be made up as soon as possible. An absence allows for a delay in completing the assignment not skipping it.

Backpack Items

The following items should always be in your child's backpack.  They should go back and forth between school and home each day.

  •           Fourth Grade Everyday Math Student Reference Book, (SRB)
  •           Fourth Grade Math Study Link folder
  •           Daily Planner (signed each day)
  •           Homework folder
  •          All other school books and papers
