Welcome to the Centennial Library! We have a great library staff here at Centennial. Mrs. Grush, Mrs. Ellingboe, and Mrs. King are here to help you!

Library Book Check Out

Kindergarteners have a weekly 25 minute check out time.  During this time the class will hear a story, learn library skills, and check out a book.  They keep the book for one week.

First, second, and third grade have a weekly 20 minute check out time. I will also see students 2 out of 3 weeks for a Library/Computer Skills class.  During this scheduled time students may hear a story that relates to class work and/or work on library, and research skills.  First grade check out one or two books, second grade check out two books and third grade check out three books.

Fourth and Fifth graders have a weekly 20 minute check out time. I will also see students 2 out of 3 weeks for a Library/Computer Skills class. During this scheduled time students may hear a story that relates to class work, and/or work on library, and research skills.  Both grade levels are allowed to check out three books, one being a chapter book at their level.

We do not charge fees for overdue books but payment is expected for damaged or lost books. Please help your child remember to return library books.  Books may be renewed, but they need to be brought to the library for renewal.
