 Welcome to Music!

This is my twelfth year at Centennial. I grew up in Kansas City, and have been singing for as long as I can remember, having received my Bachelor of Music degree from North Park University in Chicago, and my Master's degree from the University of North Texas. In addition to general music, I teach dulcimers and choir at Centennial, plus Sing, Dance, and Play Around the World.  Away from school I sing in the local professional choir KANTOREI and maintain a private voice studio.

 General Music CurriculumMinimize

Our new performing arts curriculum, adopted in 2007, resulted in some exciting changes, and an increased use of technology in the delivery of music instruction.  New materials include sequenced programs for kindergarten (Denise Gagne's MUSICPLAY), and GAME PLAN for grades 1-5.  Please visit the music room to see these exciting new changes!
