 Instrumental Music (Band)

We are very proud to offer instrumental music (band) instruction in brass, woodwinds, and percussion for students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. The band program requires a one-year commitment from our students and families. Students meet in their sectional groups (brass, woodwinds, and percussion) twice a week with a combined rehearsal once a week on Fridays.

Centennial music students may enroll in after-school private music lessons! We have discovered that students taking private music lessons advance more quickly in their music studies. We offer top quality instruction from our arts program instructors in piano, woodwinds, brass, and percussion.

Suzuki Violin

The Suzuki Violin Program is an exciting opportunity for students to study the violin and find the joy that comes through music-making as soloists and as part of an ensemble. We have frequent performances so students can showcase their progress. Students attend two 40 minute group lessons per week in addition to a weekly 30-minute private lesson. Beginning violinists receive a 20-minute private lesson.

  • All Suzuki Violin students receive private lessons each week.
  • Advanced students also meet on Fridays for a special ensemble rehearsal.
