Meet Mrs. Kim Creadick

This is my sixth year teaching Special Education at Centennial Academy and my 22nd year in the district as a Special Education teacher. I grew up in Illinois and attended Southern Illinois University and received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education in 1976. I moved to Colorado in 1977 and started my teaching career at Margaret Walters Community Center in Jefferson County. In November of 1983 I started teaching Special Education at Heritage High School. After nine years of teaching at Heritage I went to Highland Elementary and taught in the Resource program. During this time I also went back to school at the University of Northern Colorado and received my M.A. degree in Moderate Needs Special Education.

When I am not teaching I spend time relaxing with my husband and two daughters. I enjoy playing with my golden retriever, swimming, yoga and reading any good book I can find. Every summer we go to upper Michigan for a month. My dream is to own a summer home on Lake Michigan and live there after I retire.

Meet Mrs. Karen Byorick

Hello! I am part of the Special Education team at Centennial Academy and provide school psychological services to students. This is my fourth year working with the Centennial students and I enjoy helping them improve their self-image and expand their social skills. Prior to working for Littleton Public Schools, I was a school psychologist for the Douglas County School District. I received my Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame. After graduating, I continued my education at the University of Denver. I received my Education Specialist degree in the area of School Psychology for children grades K-12. Outside of work, I spend time coaching swimming to young children who are part of the ACES Swim Club. Needless to say, I spend a lot of my day with children! I currently live in Littleton with my husband and two dogs, Raleigh and Keegan.

Meet Mrs. Suzy Danielson

This is my third year providing speech and language services at Centennial Academy. I truly enjoy coming to work everyday and am very proud to be a part of the special education department at Centennial. I have become very attached to my students over the last few years and am extremely proud of their growth and progress. Prior to coming to Littleton, I spent several years traveling between Colorado and California completing my education and experiencing new cities. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders and Speech Science. I then pursued my Master’s Degree in Communicative Disorders with a bilingual emphasis at San Diego State University. Following graduation, I moved to Vail, Colorado where I worked part-time as a speech-language pathologist at Gypsum Middle School. I also spent time enjoying the snow and perfecting my skills on the slopes! In order to complete my certification in speech pathology, I traveled back to California where I worked as an itinerant SLP in Santa Barbara. This job involved working with severely handicapped students from the preschool to high school level. After obtaining my certification, I returned to Colorado for good. I currently live in Littleton with my husband, Jason, and our dog, Jackson. This is an exciting year for us as we are expecting our first baby in early March! Outside of work, I enjoy snow and water skiing, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family.
